Hi! Thanks for stopping by.  I'm Monique, affectionately known as Mo... the Principal Planner and Creative Director of Events Simplified; and Chief Fun Organizer (CFO) at Star Party - creative children's parties.

 

Guess by now you know I’m an Event Specialist. I wear many hats because I’m different things to different people, I’m cool with that.

 

My journey literally began at eleven years old, when I planned a spectacular weddings for my Barbie and Ken dolls. Fast forward about ten years when I got a "real" job in the banking industry I was called upon to plan holiday parties, team building outings, executive meetings, and company picnics. I soon began to plan parties for coworkers and friends. What started as a little "side hustle" blew up and in 2002 I stepped out on faith left the bank and started an event production company and I haven’t looked back since.

 

My laid back personality has proven to be my greatest asset; it makes my clients feel at ease. I approach each event with an open mind, a gracious attitude and a smile.

 

I have the ability to effectively communicate with my clients to produce their unique vision of their event, by working seamlessly behind the scenes.

I share my heart and my home with my fantastic hubby and my two beautiful, unique and adventurous daughters. We live, work and play in Los Angeles County.
